You guys! I’ve been so sick. That’s why I haven’t been posting recently. I had a fever and chills and a burning sore throat. I was coughing and hacking up a lung. My head was stuffed up and I couldn’t breath or sleep. It was ridiculous!

And now I sound like a man bitching about the sniffles.  But seriously. I was sick y’all.

So Big Daddy had to take over the birthday party festivities. That man is a rock star. Just let me say that. He took the girls roller skating for Zeta’s party on Saturday. Then had them all over to the house for pizza and cake and 3 of them spent the night!

Then Sunday morning he made them pancakes, shipped them off and got ready for Jemima’s party later that afternoon. Then he presided over that whole shindig (where, you will be happy to know, four kids showed up and Jemima was thrilled!).

And all the while in between all this birthday stuff, he took excellent care of me. I’m a very lucky girl.

Now I’m feeling almost 100% and I’ve shipped the kids off to Jesus camp. I know. I’m a hypocrite. But for $29/week for 15 hours to myself this week, I’m going to call it a lesson in tolerance for my kids. I’ve always said they should learn about any religion they want to and decide for themselves. Also, there’s a bounce house and a slip-n-slide and crafts. And did I mention it’s $29 for the entire week? Yeah.
