Boogie Fever
I have this friend, Molly. She’s one of my closest friends. She’s so much fun and really knows how to throw a party! (She totally has a Real Houswife backyard with a killer pool, huge yard, big flat screen TV, bar and lounge area). She always serves Veuve Clicquot! What’s not to love? Seriously, she’s got to be just about the best hostess I know (Lisa is very, very close behind. Or perhaps they are tied).
Each time I have gone back to San Diego to visit she has thrown a party in my honor for me and my friends. This year she suggested a party for my girls and their friends! Super fun idea. And? A karaoke party!!
Why hello teenager and what have you done with my 8 year old daughter?
There was a candy bar (which, btw, I LOVED! I want one at my next grown-up party! Why should the kids have all the fun)
And mocktails! Seriously. My Zeta was thrilled to drink out of a real cocktail glass!
There was a VIP Section (with bottle service)
Song selection
And lots of gettin down!
And me and JR catching up on all things Real Housewives and BB14. Aren’t we cute?
And, of course, everyone completely worn out at the end of the party (Around 9:30pm).
We could have partied all night (and by all night I mean at least until 10:30pm), but the neighbors have a baby and there may or may not have been some talk of calling the cops.
Thanks again for the fab time, Molly and boys!

I loved having that party!! My boys still don’t want to take the decorations down. We want to keep enticing you and your brood to come and visit every year!
The girls can’t stop talking about it! We’ll be back, but we want you all to come here too!
OK, wow that looks like so much fun!!! I want your friend to adopt me. I can just stay on that couch outside, she’ll never even notice I’m there.
Melisa @ just begin from here. recently posted..birthdays, i heart you.
That couch is normally where the dance floor was. Facing the TV and bar. So yeah, you want to move in for sure!
