Washinton is no longer in the liquor business – Wordless Wednesday
Of course it’s me (aka Motor Mouth) posting so it can’t truly be wordless. Just a few words.
We Washingtonians voted for the privatization of alcohol sales back in the fall. As of June 1st we can buy liquor at Safeway, Costco (where the above photo was taken) and any other store that’s at least 10,000 sq ft (with a few exceptions) (I’m really hoping one of those exceptions is the little market near my house).
Of course now there is a spirit tax to make up for the lack of state revenue. I don’t care. I’ll pay. Whatevs. As long as I can buy my booze in bulk, at a discount. It’s all good.

Oooh! Where?!
I saw all the liquor at Safeway tonight and thought of you! Wow, that would really be an awkward statement if taken out of context.
