The Entry
Our house is very slowly coming along (I can’t believe we’ve lived here for eleven months!), but it is coming along. We recently purchased a console table for our entry. We found it at the Antique Mall in Poulsbo.
I also found this adorable wall clock that I thought would be perfect to hang above the table.
I hung it with a painting and mirror we already had, and viola! (Painting done by the incredibly talented artist and dear friend, Laura Crow).
I still need to put some things on the table. Probably a vase of flowers or holly branches. Or maybe a potted orchid. Definitely a small lamp; a dish for change or keys. You wouldn’t believe what a difference this has made! It makes me really happy each time I walk by. It’s the little things, right? Like getting your house in order.
It will all look so much better when we finally paint the house! We’ve picked out the paint color and have vowed to do a room a month starting with December. We’ll see how that works out. I’ll keep you posted.
