Warning: I’m going to have a little vent session/pity party of sorts. I’ve been home sick with 3 little kids while the hubs has been working in San Jose, so I feel I can bitch. Besides it’s my blog. I can do what I want.
A lot of my friends are not reading my blog and it’s really bugging me. I mean, sure, if you don’t like the blog that’s fine. I can dig that. But when you tell me you do and you encourage me to start the damn thing and keep posting, why can’t you read? It’s come to my attention that some of my friends can’t remember to log on. But you can remember to check your email. I know not everyone is on FB every damn minute or following 5 blogs like I am. But I know that these people (and you know who you are) do know how to work a computer and do have email and at least one website they like to get on. So why can’t you just type in my blog address and check it out once a day or every other day?
I had to give some of these bitches a hard time when we were together. After consuming a fair amount of wine and champagne. I found out a few things. They don’t know what “follow” means on a blog much less how to follow me. They’d like to get the new posts in their email and one of them wants me to print it out and send it to her. Really? Well, geniuses, if you’d subscribe to my blog you’d get the posts in your email! Mind you, these chicks told me they like the blog and find it funny and that is what started the conversation. If it’s so damn funny, why can’t you read it?! Do you know how to put it in your favorites? Huh? They probably don’t because one of them asked me to have my husband make it her home page. So if she doesn’t even know how to set her home page I have to assume she doesn’t even know about favorites.
I have 155 fans on FB but they aren’t reading it everyday! OK, you are, MK and I thank you and adore you for it. The woman doesn’t even have kids, people, and she manages to read my blog EVERYDAY.
I really have to get back to lying on the couch sipping ginger ale and trying not to puke. But if you actually read this would you mind terribly leaving a comment and maybe emailing the link to a friend? I’m giving up on mine.

Your blog cracks me up! You need some new friends, girl! I even told some of my book club friends they should check it out because you say what we are all thinking! Keep on bloggin! And, hope you feel better soon. I hate that stomach bug sick and I seem to get it at least once a year. And, I get NO sympathy from the hubby when I do! I actually drove to preschool to get O last year with a plastic bag in my lap so I could pull over and puke. Her preschool director was nice enough to bring her out to me in the parking lot.
first of all, 144 followers on facebook is pretty awesome. secondly, i read every post, but don’t always have something to say, so i don’t always post a reply. maybe there’s some of that going on?

Thank you Chris. The deal is, I can see exactly how many people were on my website on any given day. I can see where they were (city) but not who they are. So I have all these fans on FB and friends not on fb who read the blog, but when I check my stats it’s usually between 10 – 20 people who have logged on and read. And then of course there are the few of my close friends that I can call out on not reading. Funnily enough these select few have not commented on this post. Hmmm.
yo, trish, I hear you on the reading the blog thing. I’ve been blogging for 4 years now, and i got tired of reminding my friends to log on so I’ve been posting recently just for the grandmas, the crazy religious great aunts and my sister. small following but very very VERY loyal.

Honestly Trish, you and I are both chicks that have alot to yammer on about. I keep up as best I can with you!! And remember that I read it daily at my old house because the computer was right out in the open but it hasnt been as easy to get on the computer since we moved. Also I go to bed so darn early these days. LOVE YOU!! And I thought you hooked me up so it was going to my email but then I logged on just now and saw I missed posts!!
