LOST returns tonight after eight long months!! I am so excited!! I’ve been counting down the days and today the hours. I absolutely love this show. I think it is one of the best shows on television. Second only to Mad Men, which you are destined to hear about come summer. Lucky you!

But Jesusfuckingchrist! Does the hiatus really have to be 8 freaking months?? How the hell am I supposed to remember where we left off? Yeah, yeah, I know ABC rebroadcast last seasons finale. But I don’t have time to watch that! I’ve got 3 kids, books to read, blogs to write, crops to harvest and other shows to watch!

One of my friends said to me today that Juliet is dead. Is that true? Why do I not remember her dying?

Anyway, what are we going to find out in this, the final season?! What powers does Walt have? Where is John Locke? What’s up with Jack’s dad? Is that dude dead or what? Why do the numbers keep popping up? Where is Claire? Is she dead or alive? If dead, how did she die? If alive, where has she been? Why doesn’t that guy with the eyebrows age? What’s with Hurley? Who will Kate end up with – Jack or Sawyer? She’s gotta pick one, right?

I must confess, I like not knowing all the answers. I know that LOST frustrates many and people want answers. Me? I like the questions. I like not knowing. Particularly when we are dealing with science fiction or situations that seem to defy logic. I don’t want some dumb explanation to all this. I’d rather it stay a mystery. If it ends up being some one’s dream, so help me god, I’ll kick some ABC ass!
